Every Saturday from 10 AM to 1 PM, you can find the Lighter Loads ATX trailer where members of the homeless community come to receive a hot meal, hot shower and get their clothing laundered. We call these events our “Block Parties”.
To those who have often been left with a few items of clothing, a hot shower and clean clothes provides comfort and dignity physically, mentally and emotionally. This is the gift we offer, but we are only able to offer it with the support of those who share in our mission to “love one…then another”.
We are proud of how far we’ve come and the work we’ve done, but our work is just beginning. To expand our reach and further our mission, we’re asking for help to bring hope, dignity and love to the homeless community through recurring donations.
